The Civil Engineering Course of the Technology Center of the "Minister Petrônio Portela" University Campus, was created through Resolution Nº. 02 of December 1, 1976 of CONSUN (University Council of UFPI) and recognized through of ordinance Nº. 247 of June 6, 1982 of the MEC (Ministry of Education). Its Curricular Structure was established through Resolution Nº. 48 of April 1976 of the Federal Council of Education and the disciplines defined from the unfolding of the subjects of the minimum curriculum required by said resolution. The Civil Engineer is the one who has the competence to carry out research, design, teaching, study, design, manufacture, construction, production, supervision, quality control, maintenance and management tasks in the areas of buildings, roads, Transport, water supply and sanitation, ports, rivers, canals, dams and dykes, drainage and irrigation, bridges and large structures and their related services.
